The present invention relates to a method for controlling notification. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for controlling notification exposure from a mobile device may comprise the steps of: generating a predetermined event signal if there is a notification message to be displayed; identifying a menu corresponding to the notification message depending on the event signal; confirming a predetermined notification exposure level in correspondence with the identified menu; and displaying that the notification message is received on the screen by a notification exposure method corresponding to the confirmed notification exposure level. Therefore, the present invention is capable of effectively controlling notification exposure based on user feedback.
