<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall surface finishing method, with which the construction period can be shortened at ordinary temperature and drying can be promoted at low temperature under high humidity, when applying a top coating for building. <P>SOLUTION: The method concerns finishing of an acrylic resin emulsion as a top coating material for building. As for an undercoat, an alkaline earth metal oxide powder having reactivity with water is added to the acrylic resin emulsion, the top coating material for building, and is applied and further on the above, the acrylic resin emulsion, the top coating material for building, is applied as finishing.
