<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake strengthening structure for a roof surface frame that increases aseismatic performance, decrease quantities of members, and shorten a construction period. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an earthquake strengthening structure 1 provided to a roof surface frame so as to enhance the aseismatic performance of a building. The earthquake strengthening structure is characterized in that diagonals 52a, 52b and 53a, 53b of a rectangular grid formed of two beams 54, 56 which extend in one direction of the roof surface frame and are parallel with each other and two beams 51, 51 which extend in a direction orthogonal to the beams and are parallel with each other are connected by cables 2, 2, and the grid straddles at least one of the beam extending in the one direction and the beam extending in the direction orthogonal to the one direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
