<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a peripheral device to be used from an information processing device even when a program for controlling the peripheral device is not stored in the information processing device.SOLUTION: The present invention is applicable to a peripheral device which performs predetermined processing on the basis of information from an information processing device. The peripheral device comprises: storage means which stores a program for controlling the predetermined processing, and stores data for controlling the peripheral device; communication means which sends the program stored in the storage means to the information processing device; and control means which controls operation of the peripheral device on the basis of instruction information written into the storage means upon execution of the program on the information processing device.</p> |
