<p>According to the present invention, an air cleaner for an automobile comprises: a housing which has an inlet and an outlet, and has an opening part formed on one side where the inlet is positioned; a filter element positioned inside the housing between the inlet and an outlet; a pair of side plates coupled with the right and left sides of the filter element in respective to an air flowing direction respectively; an outlet side frame coupled with one side of the filter element toward the outlet; a separation packing sealing a portion of a periphery of the outlet side frame, and the inner wall of the housing; and a cover coupled with the housing to cover an opening part to be sealed, pressurizing the side plates toward the separation packing when the cover is coupled with the housing. The air cleaner for an automobile in accordance to the present invention may stably fixate the filter element to the interior of the housing without a separate fixing device. Also, the entire amount of air introduced into the housing undergoes the filter element; thereby securing a much higher reliability of air filtering, and making it much easier to replace the filter element.</p> |
