<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial force introduction device for a strut steel material, which enables the axial force to be introduced into the strut steel material with no jack, and an axial force introduction method for the strut steel material.SOLUTION: An axial force introduction device for a strut steel material, which introduces an axial force into the strut steel material laid between opposed earth retaining walls, includes: heating means that is attached to the strut steel material to heat the strut steel material; a heat insulator for enveloping the strut steel material; a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of the strut steel material; and control means into which the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is input, which increases the detected temperature so that the detected temperature can reach a set temperature, and which controls the heating means to maintain the temperature when the detected temperature reaches the set temperature.</p> |
