摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying the surface profile of a test body, without an additional mechanism to an ultrasonic flaw detection test device. <P>SOLUTION: An array probe 11 is disposed on the surface (12a and 12b) of a test body 12 having a shape change part with a changed surface profile through a medium 23 which allows the shape to be changed along the surface profile of the test body 12, so that electronic linear scanning is performed using the array probe 11 without control of delay time (step 1). Aperture synthesis using electronic linear scanning results creates a picture of a flaw detection area, so that a brightness value for each picture element is obtained (step 2). The picture element having a maximum brightness value is found for each picture element number in the scanning direction of the electronic linear scanning (step 3). The position of the picture element is determined to be the surface position of the test body 12, so that the surface profile of the test body 12 is identified (step 3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
