The present invention relates to a method for controlling a screen of an electronic device. The method comprises the steps of: displaying a plurality of sub-screens which are divided from one screen wherein the sub-screens have a predetermined overlapping area with an adjacent sub screen; selecting one sub-screen among the sub-screens; displaying the selected sub-screen in a mirroring area; and upon receipt of a user drag to an adjacent screen, which has at least one overlapping area with the sub-screen, from a sub-screen displayed in the mirroring area, displaying the adjacent screen having an overlapping area with the one sub-screen in the mirroring area according to the drag.
