Cosmetic composition comprises at least one direct hair dye, which is encapsulated in a vesicular carrier system that consists of vesicles, which are made from hydrophobized polysaccharides and exhibit a particle size of 10-1000 nm and a positive surface charge with a zeta potential of 1-150 mV. An independent claim is included for a cosmetic formulation containing the composition.
