<p>The present invention relates to an audio contents restoration method in a receiver (PVR) for audio and/or audiovisual contents. The receiver (PVR) is proper to restore audio contents. The audio contents are received after being encoded and include continuous frames (Fn) of audio samples (SAn) and pointer-type information (PtrBn, PtrEn, PtrMBn, PtrMEn) with respect to at least a portion of the audio samples (SAn) of the continuous frames (Fn). According to an embodiment of the present invention, the audio contents restoration method includes the steps of: selecting the audio samples, to be identified from the pointer-type information, from the frames; and restoring only selected samples.</p> |
