<p>The present invention relates to a 8-speed dual clutch transmission. The transmission includes a second input shaft selectively connected to an engine output shaft through a second clutch, and including a 4-6 speed input gear and a 2-speed input gear in order; a first input shaft forming the same axle as the second input shaft, selectively connected to the engine output shaft through a first clutch, and including a 1-speed input gear, 5-speed input gear, and a 3-speed input gear in order; a first output shaft being in parallel with the first input shaft, and unconstrainedly including a 4-speed output gear geared with the 4-6 speed input gear, a 2-speed output gear geared with the 2-speed input gear, a 1-speed output gear geared with the 1-speed input gear, and a 3-speed output gear geared with the 3-speed input gear; a second output shaft being in parallel with the first input shaft, and unconstrainedly including a 6-speed output gear geared with the 4-6 input gear, a 8-speed output gear, a 7-speed output gear, and a 5-speed output gear geared with the 5-speed input gear; a conversion shaft being in parallel with the second output shaft, and unconstrainedly including a 8-speed conversional multistep gear having a gear in a side geared with the 6-speed output gear and having a gear in the other side geared with the 8-speed output gear and a 7-speed conversional multistep gear having a gear in a side geared with the 7-speed output gear and having a gear in the outer side geared with the 5-speed output gear; and a planet gear set included in the first output shaft to be placed between the 1-speed output gear and the 2-speed output gear. Therefore, the whole length of a dual clutch transmission is reduced, and thus, the volume is reduced.</p> |
