PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell evaluation device which can properly evaluate cells by a relatively simple method, even when operations necessary for cell culture such as a subculture operation is hand-technically not suitable on the evaluation of cells.SOLUTION: The cell evaluation device includes a characteristic quantity-calculating portion for outputting characteristic quantities exhibiting the morphological characteristics of cells shown in an image, a decision standard-making portion for making a decision standard in the characteristic quantities of the cells on the basis of the evaluation data of the cells and the characteristic quantities of the cells shown in the image, an image-deciding portion for deciding whether to be capable of being applied as utilization data for building a calculation model for performing the evaluation of the cells from the characteristic quantities of the cells shown in the input image on the basis of the decision standard, and a cell evaluation calculation model-building portion for building a calculation model for performing the evaluation of the cells on the basis of the morphological characteristic quantities determined in the characteristic quantity-calculating portion, using the images capable of being applied to the image-deciding portion. |
