PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell unit, having a membrane electrode assembly and separators, that is reliably held in position with a simple and economical configuration and effectively improves ease of assembly.SOLUTION: A fuel cell 10 includes fuel cell units 12 each having: a first membrane electrode assembly 14a that has a frame portion 28 provided on an outer edge thereof; a first separator 16; a second membrane electrode assembly 14b that has a frame portion 28 provided on an outer edge thereof; a second separator 18; and a third separator 20. In the frame portion 28 of the first membrane electrode assembly 14a, a plurality of resin pins 104a are formed integrally. The resin pins 104a are integrally inserted in respective holes 74a of the first separator 16, respective holes 116a of the second membrane electrode assembly 14b, respective holes 98a of the second separator 18, and respective holes 48a of the third separator 20. |
