<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical inhalation gas supply device capable of eliminating noisy sound of bubbles of its humidifier, and requiring no use of purified water. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a humidifier 24 having a container 32 storing water 31 for humidification, and a lid member 33 for tightly closing the container, wherein the humidifier is equipped with an inlet port for introducing an inhalation gas to be humidified into an upper space 34 of the container 32, and an outlet port for leading the humidified inhalation gas from the upper space 34. The humidifier 24 increases the flow rate of the introduced inhalation gas by decreasing the open area of the inlet port, so that displacement due to a gas flow can be generated on a water surface 37 in the container 32. With this configuration, the inhalation gas jetted from the flow path in which the opening is reduced in dimension becomes a narrow rapid flow to collide against the water surface 37. Thus, the inhalant gas can be sufficiently humidified, the sound of bubbles can be eliminated and use of purified water is not required. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
