<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating brick wall capable of improving melting resistance with respect to molten metal while reducing costs. <P>SOLUTION: A heat resistant brick wall 3 is formed by assembling a plurality of magnesia-chrome based first bricks 1 having superior melting resistance, and a plurality of dolomite based second bricks 2, and a molten metal contact face 30 is formed, contacting molten metal.
