<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller which controls operation of electronic apparatuses on the basis of power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A home controller 100 comprises: input interfaces 1031 and 1041 for receiving operations for controlling operation of at least one electronic apparatus among a plurality of electronic apparatuses; and a CPU 110 for controlling at least one electronic apparatus by using an allowed value of the total power consumption by the plurality of electronic apparatuses. The CPU 110 estimates the total power consumption in controlling at least one electronic apparatus according to the operations received by the input interfaces, and restricts operation of the at least one electronic apparatus according to the received operations when it is determined that the estimated total power consumption is larger than the allowed value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
