The present invention relates to a membrane for a liquefied natural gas cargo tank, which covers insulation boxes of a GTT NO96 type liquefied natural gas cargo tank, and comprises a plurality of invar strakes respectively having one end and an opposite end located in the opposite site. One end of the invar strake is formed to have a hook which is hung on a groove formed on an upper surface of the insulation box. The opposite end of the invar strake covers one end of a neighboring invar strake and is fixed on one end of the neighboring invar strake.
