PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receipt printer capable of accelerating introduction of an electronic receipt with a minimum modification of a software for handling the electronic receipt with a commodity sales data processor for carrying out storing and searching services of the electronic receipt.SOLUTION: The receipt printer includes: command reception means that receives a control command including a piece of receipt data relevant to a piece of receipt information and an attribute which represents whether or not a piece of electronic receipt information in a form of electronic data of a receipt which is printed and issued at commodity settlement should be issued; electronic receipt generation means that, when the control command received together with the receipt data includes the issuance attribute, generates the receipt data as the electronic receipt information; and transmission means that transmits the generated electronic receipt information to a transmission source of the receipt data. |
