Class 89(1) A screw - thread locking -arrangement comprises a screw 1 formed with superimposed threads 2, 3 of opposite-hand, a first nut 4 threadedly engaging the threads of one-hand, and a nut or washer 5 threadedly engaging the threads of the other-hand. Nut or washer 5 has flanges 6 which are bent up against the sides of nut 4, and may have only a single turn of thread, or intermittent internal projections which are the equivalent of a thread.
