A bag (10) for storing a mobile phone (100) comprising an outer shell (15) having an exterior surface (14) and an interior surface (16). The bag (10) comprises a plate (40) mounted on the exterior surface, a lamp, and a controller, wherein the plate comprises a lens or aperture (42) for viewing the lamp, and wherein the lamp is electrically connected to the controller, the controller comprising a wireless transceiver for wirelessly communicating with the mobile phone (100). The bag (10) may also include a battery pack (30) and a handle (12) containing a vibrator (39). The lamp may light up in different colours and the handle may vibrate to show that the phone is ringing or indicate a low battery. The plate (40) may form a touch detector allowing a user to control the lamp. There is further provided an item of jewellery that can communicate with a mobile. |
