<p>The method involves establishing a virtual protocol network connection to a computer (200) by a mobile telecommunication terminal e.g. personal digital assistant (100). A data base rendered on the terminal and another data base rendered on the computer are synchronized by the virtual protocol network connection, where the latter data base is assigned to a user of the terminal. Rendered user data is read from a memory of the terminal, and is transferred to the computer by the connection. The user of the terminal is authenticated by the computer depending upon the user data. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a mobile telecommunication terminal comprising a synchronizer device (2) a digital storage medium with a stored program, formed for controlling a mobile telecommunication terminal for performing a method for data synchronization between the mobile telecommunication terminal and a computer.</p> |
