The present invention relates to a method for processing pixels in video encoding and decoding. The method includes the steps of: determining a sample offset processing area at present; and executing operations of sorting and offset on the pixels on the sample offset processing area at present. The step of a sample offset processing area at present includes the sub-steps of: executing a spatial location movement operation on a predetermined encoding process unit; and determining an area after the spatial location movement operation as the sample offset processing area at present. By using the method of the present invention, sample offset processing areas can be flexibly obtained and encoding performance can be enhanced. |
