1. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by a computing device, cause the computing device to:
generate an input current having an average current; determine the average current of the input current based on a plurality of corresponding input currents through a plurality of segments of light emitting diodes; determine a total period for switching the input current to all the segments of light emitting diodes in the plurality of segments of light emitting diodes; determine a corresponding period of time for switching the input current to a selected segment of light emitting diodes based on a corresponding input current for the selected corresponding segment of light emitting diodes and the determined average current; and sequentially and separately switch the input current to each segment of light emitting diodes in the plurality of segments of light emitting diodes for a corresponding period of time, wherein the corresponding period of time for the selected segment of light emitting diodes is the determined corresponding period of time. |
