A coupling element for a fluid line comprising: a housing having a receptacle region structured and arranged to receive an insertion element; a snap-in locking device in the receptacle region that is structured and arranged for a locking connection with the insertion element; the snap-in locking device including at least one locking element having an unlocking lever, the unlocking lever being structured as one piece with the at least one locking element; an unlocking element being axially movable between a first position, in which the unlocking element interacts with the unlocking lever, and a second position, in which the unlocking element releases the unlocking lever; raised points located on the housing radially below the unlocking lever and axially movable between a blocked position, in which a movement of the unlocking lever is blocked, and an unengaged position, in which the unlocking lever is actuatable; and the unlocking element is movable relative to the raised points in such a manner that to apply a traction force on the unlocking element, the raised points are moved from the blocking position into the unengaged position.
