1. A method for generating a worst timing path for an arbitrary pin within an electronic circuit, the method comprising:
receiving a comprehensive timing report for the electronic circuit; determining a timing data set for the arbitrary pin based, at least in part, upon the comprehensive timing report; determining a worst timing path that includes the arbitrary pin based, at least in part, upon the timing data set; and generating an end point report entry for the worst timing path that includes the arbitrary pin; wherein: the worst timing path for the arbitrary pin is not included in an existing end point report; and at least the determining a timing data set, determining a worst timing path, and generating an end point report are performed by computer software running on computer hardware. |
