1. A method for event determination, comprising:
selecting a time lag for a number of event log events, wherein the time lag is determined based on an estimation of a response time between the event log events and a number of textual stream events; determining a number of trends for the log events and the number of textual stream events; calculating a dependency value at the time lag between event pairs within a first textual stream and a second textual stream utilizing the time lag and the number of trends, wherein the dependency value is a deviation between an expected number of event pairs and a number of observed event pairs during the time lag; and ordering the event pairs based on an extent of deviation of the dependency value from an expected occurrence value.
