<p>The present invention relaters to a false-twist yarn and a manufacturing method thereof wherein a false-twist yarn is prepared by using a drawn yarn having a triangular cross-section and a pile is formed by using the false-twist yarn and accordingly, a high-quality gloss is expressed, superior bulkiness and feel are provided, and a falling of piles is improved and accordingly, a velvet having higher values than the existing one can be provided. The method for manufacturing a false-twist yarn for a velvet fabric of the present invention is configured that a polyester polymer, which has an intrinsic viscosity [η] of 0.640 to 0.670, is discharged through a spinneret which has a triangular cross-section as a whole, so as to manufacture a partially drawn yarn not exceeding a single yarn fineness of 1.0 denier, and thereafter, the partially drawn yarn is supplied to a first heater of the false twister machine and manufactured to a false-twist yarn. As described above, the method for manufacturing the false-twist yarn with superior bulky and gloss properties for velvet uses a triangular cross-section yarn and accordingly, a beautiful gloss is expressed in a pile yarn and more luxurious feel is provided; a deterioration of quality by the phenomenon of falling piles by the use of conventional flat yarn for gloss expression is significantly lowered; and the purpose of the present invention can be achieved without complexities of process or without a modification of raw material, thereby not causing a problem of an increase in unit price. Further, it is possible to solve conventional problems by providing a false-twist yarn for a velvet fabric wherein soft properties are further improved due to bulky properties by being false twisted.</p> |
