The purpose of the present invention is to provide a gasket for a valve of an internal combustion engine which is simple and has economical design flexibility, and a valve for an internal combustion engine having a gasket. A gasket (1) comprises: a seal member (12) having a ring shape with respect to a shaft (A), inserted into and combined with the outside of a guide member (7), and made of an elastomeric material to form a static seal in the guide member (7); and a supporting mechanism (13) having a ring shape with respect to the shaft (A), and cooperating with the seal member (12). The entire supporting mechanism (13) is formed as a single plastic component. |
