1. A system for capacity forecasting, comprising:
a processor configured to:
calculate a set of statistical analyses for subsets of a set of capacities at points in time, wherein the subsets of the set of capacities comprises at least a first subset and a second subset of capacities, wherein the first subset of capacities comprises at least a capacity at a current time, and wherein the second subset of capacities comprises the first subset of capacities and at least one capacity at an earlier point in time;calculate a measure of fit accuracy for each statistical analysis of the set of statistical analyses to a corresponding subset of capacities;determine a selected statistical analysis from the set of statistical analyses based on measures of fit accuracy, wherein the selected statistical analysis comprises a statistical analysis calculated for a subset of capacities that is associated with a current usage pattern;forecast a full capacity time based at least in part on the selected statistical analysis; and a memory coupled to the processor and configured to provide the processor with instructions. |
