PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet synchronous motor, an electric vehicle drive system, and an electric vehicle in which overheat of a permanent magnet synchronous motor and overheat of wiring between a position where short circuit or earth fault occurs and the motor, can be prevented, when short circuit or earth fault occurs on an electric wire which is wired between an inverter device and the permanent magnet synchronous motor.SOLUTION: The permanent magnet synchronous motor is a permanent magnet synchronous motor provided on the electric vehicle drive system of an electric vehicle. The permanent magnet synchronous motor has a motor opening switch for controlling so that voltage generated by a motor part provided on a motor is not compressed by an output terminal, by blocking an own switch. |
