PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system, a base station and a radio terminal capable of making it unnecessary to switch a transmission/reception timing, and holding the deviation of a frame timing in an allowable range while maintaining a normal operation state.SOLUTION: A radio communication system 110 includes: a base station 100 for executing GPS synchronization; and a radio terminal 102 on which a GPS reception part is mounted. The base station 100 normally executes GPS synchronization for executing the synchronization of a frame timing with time information received from a GPS satellite 104, and transmits correction information request notification to the radio terminal 102 when the GPS satellite 104 is turned to be invisible, and the radio terminal 102 which has received the correction information request notification generates correction information from an offset amount between the time information received from the GPS satellite 104 and the frame timing received from the base station 100, and transmits it to the base station 100, and the base station 100 executes the synchronization of the frame timing on the basis of the correction information. |
