<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that is expected to suppress a variation in timing for starting image formation due to the conveyance of a sheet.SOLUTION: An MFP 100: forms marks across a conveyance belt 7 and a sheet; measures a mark time Tm, which is the time from when a registration sensor 63 detects the leading end of the sheet until when a belt sensor 65 detects the rear ends of the formed mark images; acquires the time from when the registration sensor 63 detects the leading end of the sheet until when image formation is started on the basis of the measured mark time Tm; and forms images on the basis of the acquired time during the image formation.</p> |
