PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To emit a pulse beam in a wide range to detect proximity to an obstacle by a simple configuration while avoiding the increase in device scale. ! SOLUTION: A laser device 10 includes: light emitting means 20 which emits pulse light; n expansion members 30 which receive the emitted pulse light and expand the received pulse light into pulse light having prescribed spread and emit the expanded pulse light as outgoing light; light condensing means 40 which condenses received light; and warning means 50 which detects inclusion of reflected light resulting from reflection on a detection object of the outgoing light, in the condensed light and calculates a distance to the detection object on the basis of the time required until the detection after emission of the outgoing light and, if the calculated distance is shorter than a prescribed threshold, warns a user. The outgoing light is emitted onto a prescribed surface throughout in a circumferential direction by n expansion members 30. ! COPY |
