A device (1, 100) for processing a round bale (2) wrapped in wrapping material (3) comprises a frame (10, 101), a first and a second support (20, 106-1, 106-2, 105) for supporting the bale in a first position, a moveable cutter (31, 32, 112) to cut through the wrapping material, and wrapping material removing means (27, 107) on at least the first support to remove the cut wrapping material from the bale, wherein at least the first support is moveable relative to the frame and to the second support, between the first position at a first distance to the second support and a second position at a second, larger distance to the second support. By having wrapping material removing means provided on at least the first support element, it is not necessary to provide a separate wrapping material remover. The device has thus fewer parts. |
