The present invention provides a method for preparing a chromium-based metal organic structure, which comprises the steps of: obtaining crushed chromium salt by crushing chromium salt; obtaining a mixture of chromium salt-organic ligand by mixing the crushed chromium salt with an organic ligand; and obtaining crushed chromium salt-organic ligand by crushing the mixture of chromium salt-organic ligand, exhibits a high specific surface area of 4,100 m^2/g or more and a high yield of 90% or more through two-step crushing and dry gel conversion, and can remarkably reduce a complex purification process.
