PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection system, a device to be projected and a projection device capable of notifying a management device of failure information even when the projection device is not connectable to a network.SOLUTION: In a projection system 1 having a projection device 10 for projecting a projection image and a device to be projected 50 to which the projection image is projected, the projection device 10 includes: a failure detection part for detecting a failure generated in the projection device 10; a pattern conversion part for converting failure information related to the detected failure into a pattern corresponding to the failure information; and an output part for performing an output based on the converted pattern. The device to be projected 50 includes: a pattern detection part for detecting the pattern from the output; a failure information conversion part for converting the detected pattern into the failure information; and a notification part for notifying a management device 90 of the converted failure information via a network 2.
