PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress demodulation performance degradation in gain control at a receiver.SOLUTION: In a receiver 30, for receiving an OFDM signal having a guard interval, an OFDM demodulator 31 detects guard interval timing and notifies an AGC control part 32. The AGC control part 32 compensates gains of a step gain variable amplifier 21, a step gain variable BB amplifiers 14I and 14Q, digital compensation parts 22I and 22Q, according to notified guard interval timing on the basis of the output of the digital compensation parts 22I and 22Q.
