PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal tone decorative component capable of achieving appearance equivalent to that of a product formed of a real metal having a scale while being a resin molding.SOLUTION: A dial plate includes: a dial plate substrate 37 formed of a resin material; a rising-sun-like scale 57 formed on the surface of the dial plate substrate 37; an undercoat 63 coated on the rising-sun-like scale 57; and a titanium thin film 65 formed in at least a region with the rising-sun-like scale 57 of the undercoat 63.
