PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of acquiring screen information over a network. ! SOLUTION: An information processing system connected to equipment over a network includes: a first reply section which transmits screen information not associated with a specific user, out of multiple pieces of screen information associated with identification information of the equipment, to the equipment, in response to a screen-information acquisition request from the equipment used by an unspecified user; and a second reply section which transmits screen information associated with a specified user, out of the multiple pieces of screen information associated with the identification information of the equipment, to the equipment, in response to a screen-information acquisition request from the equipment used by the specified user. !
