The present invention relates to a method for providing an advertisement wherein an apparatus for providing an advertisement monitors a notification device and outputs an advertisement. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for providing content which provides content includes: a content storing unit which stores content to be displayed on a display unit of the apparatus for providing content; and a monitoring unit which monitors whether or not the notification device installed on the apparatus for providing content is driven in order to notify a user of interrupt generated in the apparatus for providing content; a content outputting unit which displays at least one among the content which the content storing unit has stored on the display unit in the case of the notification device which the monitoring unit monitors driven. |
