<p>According to an embodiment of the present invention, a proxy signature system comprises: a general signature function providing unit which provides a means of generating and verifying an electronic signature; and one or more user entities which are functionally connected to the general signature function providing unit, and generate and verify the proxy signature by using the general signature function providing unit. The user entities comprise an original signer entity which generates the proxy by using a secret key of the original signer entity, a public key of the proxy signer entity, and a public certificate in order to transmit the proxy to the proxy signer entity; a proxy signer entity which generates a proxy signature by using the secret key of the proxy signer entity, a message, and the proxy and public certificate received from the original signer entity in order to transmit the proxy signature to a verifier entity; and a verifier entity which verifies the proxy signature by using the public key of the original signer entity, the public key of the proxy signer entity, the message, and the public certificate which are received from the proxy signer entity.</p> |
