摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve at least one of various problems such as reduction of cost, resource saving, manufacture facilitation and performance improvement by providing a power generation in various forms such as a fuel cell, a fuel cell system, a vehicle and a power supply method.SOLUTION: A power generation body is used for a fuel cell. The power generation body includes: a membrane electrode assembly; a frame disposed at the edge of the membrane electrode assembly; and an adhesive agent adhering the membrane electrode assembly and the frame. The membrane electrode assembly includes: an electrolyte membrane; a first catalyst layer disposed on one face of the electrolyte membrane; a second catalyst layer disposed on another face of the electrolyte membrane; a first gas diffusion layer disposed outside of the first catalyst layer; and a second gas diffusion layer disposed outside of the second catalyst layer. The first gas diffusion layer is formed in the same size as the electrolyte membrane, and the second gas diffusion layer is formed smaller than the electrolyte membrane. The frame includes a step part corresponding to a step that is formed from the electrolyte membrane and the second gas diffusion layer. The step part includes an adhesive surface formed from a face opposing the first gas diffusion layer and a face opposing the electrolyte membrane or the second catalyst layer. Hydrophilicity in the adhesive surface is higher than in a non-adhesive surface that is not adhered with other members, among surfaces forming the frame.
