PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat radiator for LED illumination capable of attaining sufficient heat radiation performance, reducing the number of component elements and attaining easy assembly work.SOLUTION: A heat radiator 1 for LED illumination comprises: an LED illumination fixing plate 2 made of heat conduction material having one surface as an illumination fixing surface 3 and the other surface as a heat transfer surface 4; and a plurality of heat radiation fins 5 arranged at the heat transfer surface 4 of the LED illumination fixing plate 2. The heat radiation fins 5 are comprised of a longitudinal rectangular plate base part 7 and heat radiation parts 8 integrally arranged in an upward protruding form at both side edges of the base part 7. The heat radiation parts 8 of the heat radiation fins 5 are provided with heat pipes 11. The LED illumination fixing plate 2 is formed with a plurality of fin fixing grooves 10, the heat radiation fins 5 are fixed to the LED illumination fixing plate 2 under a state in which the heat pipes 11 is positioned outside the fin fixing grooves 10, and the base part 7 and a part near the base part 7 at the heat radiation parts 8 are fitted in the fin fixing grooves 10. |
