PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat occupant determination device that can precisely determine whether an adult or no occupant is present or whether a child seat is fastened in spite of low cost.SOLUTION: In a seat occupant determination device comprising a seat occupant determination logic part 4e that transits a current state between one state and another state, the seat occupant determination logic part 4e comprises a seat occupant determination logic part during stopping 4e1 and a seat occupant determination logic part during travel 4e2 where transit possibility of one of three states of child seat fastening, adult seating, and no occupant during stopping or travel to another state and transit conditions are set so that transit of the three states may be accurate and a logic selection part 4e4 that selects the seat occupant determination logic part during stopping while a vehicle is in a halt and selects the seat occupant determination logic part during travel while the vehicle is in a travel. |
