PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact rotary tool capable of restraining noise and vibration in impact striking. ! SOLUTION: An outer peripheral surface of a main hammer is provided with a plurality of first groove parts parallel to the axis of rotation of a spindle, second groove parts provided in positions corresponding to the first groove parts in an inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical part of a sub-hammer and an engaging part 74 inserted into a hole formed of the first groove parts and the second groove parts and engaging the main hammer and the sub-hammer in the rotational direction.
