PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker in which an inner pot installed inside an outer pot can be pulled up after a lapse of a specified time after boiling rice to allow the broth to be separated from the rice and to remain in the outer pot, thereby eliminating the need for arranging a drain and the also eliminating the risk of being burnt, and further providing the features such as wholly washing the outer and inner pots and excellent usability. ! SOLUTION: The rice cooker comprises: a main body; an outer pot installed inside the main body and having an opening in an upper portion thereof; a heater (heating means) for heating the outer pot; an inner pot 4 installed inside the outer pot and having an opening in an upper portion thereof, the upper portion being arranged detachably; and a lid for closing the opening of the inner pot 4.
