The present invention relates to a monitoring device of a vehicle and a method thereof. The monitoring device comprises; a device for a vehicle which is installed on a vehicle and detects an error generated in the vehicle and transmits to a device for a wearer; and the device for the wearer which is worn on a body of a user, and receives an error generation signal of the vehicle transmitted from the device for the vehicle and outputs a warning and error generation information so the user can know. The present invention helps the user to recognize the type of an error generated in the vehicle and handle the error because the user receives vehicle error information in real time by using a portable wearable device such as a watch.
