PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device which achieves simplification of the assembly process and improvement of the productivity.SOLUTION: A steering lock device 1 includes: a lock body 2 attached to a column post rotatably supporting a steering shaft; and a steering lock unit 40 which restricts rotation of the steering shaft or releases the restriction by rotation operation of a key cylinder unit stored in the lock body 2. The steering lock unit 40 comprises: a lock bar 41 engageable with the steering shaft; a lock stopper 42 holding the rock bar 41; a cam shaft 44 which converts rotation movement of the key cylinder unit into linear movement of the lock stopper 42; and a lock holder 45 in which the lock stopper 42, the cam shaft 44, and the lock bar 41 are assembled facing in an identical direction and stored. |
