PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intermittently convey a web while giving uniform tension in a low load state. ! SOLUTION: In a step of continuously feeding and supplying a web W, tension of the web W is detected by displacement of a dancer roller 5, a feed amount of the web W is operated, and the tension is adjusted according to a detection result. The tension of the web W to be fed from the dancer roller 5 is further detected by a tension detector 26 in front of an accumulator 6, a pull-in amount and a delivery amount of the web by the accumulator 6 are operated, and the web W is intermittently fed to a processing step while automatically adjusting the tension to a target value according to the feed amount of the web W calculated from the displacement of the dancer roller 5 and the detection result detected in front of the accumulator 6.
