PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that has excellent low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage property as well as excellent image glossiness. ! SOLUTION: There is provided a toner containing at least a polyester resin, where the toner has a glass transition temperature at the first temperature rise [Tg1st(toner)] of 20°C or more and 50°C or less, which is measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC); tetrahydrofuran (THF) insolubles have a glass transition temperature at the second temperature rise [Tg2nd(THF insolubles)] of -40°C or more and 30°C or less, which is measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC); the THF insolubles have a storage elastic modulus at 100°C [G'(100)(THF insolubles)] of 1.0×105 Pa to 1.0×107 Pa; and the toner contains straight chain alkyl sulfonic acid salt represented by the following general formula (1): CnH2n+1-SO3-M+, wherein n is any of integers of 10 to 18. !
